Coco Chanel, A great fashion designer who made it to the Time Magazine as one of the most influential people of the 20th century once said “In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different”. Perhaps a pair of ‘The Chanel Boots’ would have formed the holy trinity of fashion along with ‘The Chanel Suit’ and ‘The Chanel Bag’ & that would be truly irreplaceable.

After being in closet as a mere winter utility wear for centuries, the boots have seen a transformation in the last few decades to make a fashion statement. Of course, Nancy Sinatra sang her way through this phase “these boots are made for walking, that’s just what they do…”; well you know the lyrics. And hey! Now, it puts the “F” in a fashion statement. It’s the norm for a contemporary fashion magazine like Glamour, Stylist or Vogue to feature an extensive section on Fashionable boots.

The Good, The Better and The Best of Fashionable boots.

The Good: Well its Boots, what more do you want ? Its classy and sexy at the same time. Goes with Jeans and Skirts equally well. Be bold, Be the Boss. My Glam Dream for the season would be Versace’s Chelsea Studded Knee high Boots on an ACNE Skinny Leather pants with Valentino – The lock pony skin shoulder bag. On bit of a high end, but hey give it a try anyway.

The Better: The variations & the exciting new styles, Oh God there’s so much. There’s perhaps never a wrong choice unless you really screw it up with a maroon red knee high boot and a bottle green skirt, Now that I visualize about it, which may not be as bad with a few embellishments to go with, may be a glittery chain across your waist & hip. You can always get some great ideas from the movies and the music videos. Kylie Minogue and Rihanna could never go wrong with their boots.

The Best: It’s like Fine Wine, gets better with age. Personally I’ve never come across a woman who’s thrown her boots away. The older it is the better it looks. Perhaps you can give away your boot’s wardrobe to your niece or daughter as Vintage Collection from 2013. Tough I don’t see that happening. Well! Boyfriends and Boots, never to be shared.

In an ideal world, fashionable boots certainly jazz up the way what a woman’s wardrobe should look like.
